Kindergarten Opera performance

Amy has truly amazed me! She breaks down into tears when she gets assigned to say a scripture, prayer or talk in primary class at church. So I was sure when she told me that she was going to be in her kindergarten opera that she would never actually do it. Well, she did it well and here is the proof!!!
She was obviously a cute little lamb. In the opera that the kids wrote themselves all the animals lost their sounds and so she had to meow like a cat. Until the vet comes and gives them a shot and they get their own sounds back. It was really cute. They came up with the music too. I was a proud mom this night!

Coupon Sense is back in my life!!!

Wish me luck! I subscribed to Coupon Sense again last night. I have been getting 5 Sunday papers since October when we moved here and I haven't touched my coupons at all. Well now that I am feeling a little better on most days I figured it is really time to start saving my family some money again. They don't double coupons here in Cache Valley so my savings won't be as extreme as they were in AZ but I figure it will still be worth it since I buy so many groceries and almost everything will have a coupon. Coupon Sense has so many new perks since I last logged in too so I can't wait to try it all out! I will let you know how this goes!!!

You should've seen my basement!!!!!!

So if you have heard me say before, since I have been sick I hardly go down to my basement at all. William goes down to check on girls at night and has watched TV down there once or twice. Makenna, Amy, & Emily have bedrooms down there and the playroom is down there too. So when we ask the kids if their rooms are clean they have gotten used to saying yes and mom not checking it. Last night after William having told me how horrific the playroom looked we rented a movie and told the girls that they couldn't watch it until the entire playroom was clean. So two hours later they finally said it was clean. So feeling a little better I went down there and checked it to my horror!!! Every room down there has things shoved in drawers and boxes where it doesn't belong. Emily's room was the worst since she has the most toys in her room. The girls had dirty clothes shoved in a bunch of the toy buckets and in vanity drawers and on bookshelves. Thery seriously thought that if nothing was on the floor it was clean. Oh and I better not forget how things were just pushed up against the walls in the playroom, not actually put away where it belongs. Boy did that set mom into a fit of all fits! Needless to say that today the girls will be cleaning for a few more hours before they can see that movie. And it is a beautiful day outside so I want to be out there enjoying the almost 60 degrees, sunshine and almost no wind. Perfect weather! Anyway, time to start a yard sale box and get rid of more things that the girls just can't seem to keep clean!!! Guess I won't be spending my day as I wanted to. Have a great weekend!

Just ONE baby, but we still think we are done!

So I went to the doc this afternoon. I was a little concerned that I would never find a doctor as good as Doctor McKernan in AZ. But I really liked this guy. He was great at answering all my questions. And he told me all about his practice history and the history of the hospital. I guess the Logan Regional Hospital is number two in the nation for most births each year. The first one is another Utah hospital in Orem Utah. Funny huh? Both communities mostly populated with LDS people. I guess they are taking "Multiply and Replenish the Earth" seriously. Do you think if I quit after this baby that I will be shunned from Utah for not having at least 6 kids?

So I had an ultrasound done today and twins has been ruled out for sure. Although you can't tell in the pictures the doc seems to think by the sound of the heart beat it is a girl. I told him told tell me until he thinks it might sound like a boy. Then we will really be finished. So we aren't sure if we are going to find out what this baby is. I kind of want to know what it is like to be surprised but I have never been good at surprises. I kind of feel like I want to be able to prepare in advance for this one, especially if it is our last one.

Oh and one last thing about the baby...I am measuring larger and so he said a more realistic due date will probably be September 28th. Not too many days earlier and he didn't actually change my due date on paper. He said if I get to the point where I want to be induced early he can call the hospital and get away with telling them that the 28th is my due date. Hehe! That is what they said about Emily. Then when she ended up in NICU we had to spill the beans about her actual due date. She was just measuring big for her gestational age too. I guess all my babies do.

Anyway, here is baby number 5...

Got more scrapping done...

Wow I got two pages done yesterday! I have to admit I still didn't feel that great but I was determined to keep myself busy to try and feel better. I finished a page for the monthly challenge at Keepsake Trends. The challenge was to use the color green as your main color. Well I could have done some Christmas pags but I wasn't in the Christmas mood. So I found this picture of me with Erin Jennings my babysitter and housecleaner in my old house. I got a little teary eyed missing her. So I decided to scrap it! So useing dark green is not my favorite let me say...

Then I was surfing the scrapbooking world websites and stumbled on this incredible layout. I should have written down the name of the gal who made it but I didn't, sorry. I finally figured out how to print 12" pictures on my printer at home. YEAH! So here is the first page I made for our next baby's album.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Well, I got my girls ready for school this morning and since Makenna was having a contest at school for who could wear the most green, Amy had to be just like her. So I did both of their hair in cute ribbons and bows. And then I painted their nails and Faces green. Here is a picture of what Amy looked like after school. I didn't have time to take Makenna's pic before school. Have a lucky day! (click on the pictures for a larger view)

Whew! I think I might be nearing better days.

I have been throwing up much less this week even skipping days. Whew! What a relief. I guess the relief part is the fact that I feel much less nauseous too. Well for most of the day anyway. I hope posting this doesn't jinx me cause I sure do need a break from being sick. My house looks like a disaster and I really need to get some laundry finished. Here is a funny/embarrassing story that happened on Sunday.

Well, I felt good enough to get up and make it to church so I went. After sacrament meeting I was taking the two younger girls to the bathroom before they went to class. Amy goes into a stall and I take Emily two doors down to another stall to help her. And Amy yells out for everyone to hear, "Mom, you need to buy me some more panties." So, not wanting to hear out loud why she thinks this, I said to her, "OK Amy, we will talk about it later." But, as little kids often do she embarrassed me with her next comment. "Or you could just do my laundry!" I about died. I sure hope there wasn't anyone in there to hear that conversation. When I came out of the stall with Emily there was a little girl and a little old lady. Hopefully neither of them had a clue what just happened. But I was embarrassed all the same. I guess I better start doing housework when I feel good instead of scrapbooking huh?

Here are two recent layouts I got done on a couple of good days last week...

Can't find my Bendoxy! UGH!!!!

Ok so I have been taking a medication to keep you from being so sick. Wel yesterday morning I forgot to take it off my night table before venturing out of bed to my computer. The girls were watching TV in my bed and Mason off course must have been getting into things. I went to take my meds last night before bed and I couldn't find them. Well since I have been throwing up almost twice a day lately I decided that they don't work anyway and that it wasn't urgent that I find them. Well, yesterday was a not too bad day. Today is a whole other story. I feel terrible again and am laying around on the verge of throwing up. Usually I take one pil in the afternoon and two at night. So I have been without 4 pills now. Is it out of my system and things going to go BAD from here on out? Well, I needed to get a refill of this medicine anyway but I can't call it in cause I can't find the bottle to get the script number from it!!! This is what happens when I don't feel good enough to put things away. DANG! Someone please put me out of my misery!!!
