Today is William's 37th birthday and Emily's 7th. The years are flying by faster than ever and I just am amazed at how much my kids grow with each passing year. Since William isn't here to celebrate his birthday and I didn't think to take his picture in Farmington last weekend I decided I needed to post his most recent picture. Funny huh? Yeah he made the best Napolean. I sure wish William was here today so we could make him a nice dinner and a butterscotch pudding pie. I pray our house will sell soon cause I think it makes the kids as sad as me to have him gone. You should have heard the tone of Emily's voice and seen the look on her face this morning when we called to tell him Happy Birthday. She looked and sounded like she wanted to cry and all she said was "I miss you Dad!". It made me sad that she misses him on her special day. They have always shared this day with each other.

Ok now for Emily. She got to sleep with me last night since it was her birthday today. And she woke me up at 7 am singing Happy Birthday to herself. It was cute but I was so tired and told her to go back to sleep since no one else was awake yet. We didn't plan to attend church today since Mason and Liberty have bronchitis and Amy has been hacking too. So I was hoping everyone would sleep in for a while this morning. Not so lucky. About 7:30 all the kids started coming in one at a time to annoy me out of bed. They had powdered donut gems, our usual birthday breakfast around here. Then I made Emily let me get her all gussied up for the day before she was allowed to open presents. I can't believe she is 7 already. And she is turning into an amazing little lady. Or should I say PRINCESS. She is still definitely my Diva of the family. I love the toothless smile. Her other front tooth is dangling there too.

She got this funny shirt for her birthday. And from G & G Mortensen she got the coolest bank that tallies your coins when you insert them. She really loved the guitar Mason got her and the gumball machine that Libby gave her. It was pink to match her room. She also got a Tamagotchi and a couple of books to learn to play the piano and the recorder. Liberty loved the Strawberry Shortcake puzzle that Grandma M gave her. I think the hit present though was one of those things that have all the nails and you can put your hand or face prints into it. I think it is called peg prints. Everyone has been fighting over it.
Mason, poor little boy has been throwing up today. Yuck. And on top of that his cough is just not getting much better and he is on medication for a "Tamater" in his ear. That is what the doc told him he had in there. He giggled. He is very pale today. Good thing I didn't take him to church.
Anyway, Happy birthday you two!

Is she really already 7. I think she stopped aging the minute you moved from Arizona. So she will always be 3 to me. She is GORGEOUS! I love Williams costume perfect. Happy birthday to you guys. Love ya, Tammi
