This is a picture of Liberty's new favorite Great Aunt Amy. Her name is Amelia but she goes by Amy. This was the first time I have met her. She recently married my Uncle Dan, my dad's oldest brother. They are a great couple and Amy fits into the family so well. She loved my kids and especially loved having a baby around to play with and give her first strawberry shortcake. YUM!
On Monday after Easter for Family home evening our neighborhood does an annual Easter egg hunt. They throw out a ton of candy in the grass and put a few eggs in the mix. Inside each egg is a piece of paper with a prize written on it. You take the egg and turn it in for that prize. They have three different areas for the different ages. It works out well. Well this year it got rained out. But we still did it. It was freezing cold and wet for the parents but the kids sure had a great time.
Then of course Tuesday the 10th was our 8th anniversary. William brought me Panda Express for lunch and a dozen beautiful pink roses. Silly me, forgot to take pictures of that. We didn't do anything until Friday night cause I had to babysit late on Tuesday night. Bummer!
Then Wednesday the 11th my cousin Serenti Franklin got married in the Salt Lake City temple. So her family came to town to be there. So of course I got to see them too. We went to dinner at my dad's house that night and got to catch up on each others lives. It was tons of fun. Here is a picture of my Grandma enjoying the massage chair.
And a party wouldn't be a party without the 3 Amigos. My Dad and his borthers are so funny together. This first picture is of Cort, the youngest, Dan, the oldest and my dad Stan the middle. The second picture is Cort and my dad goofing around. In the third one my dad and Cort were pretending to be feminine and right before I took the picture Cort decided my dad was the only gay one. My poor dad. But I have to admit he had it coming!
Then Grandma challenged Makenna to a pogo stick jumping constest. What was she thinking? Makenna is the pogo stick princess! She showed grandma up by jumping with no hands!
