Do you remember almost three years ago when I posted about my neice Shanna who was born at 24 weeks? Well she has surely been a miracle. I think she has had nine surgeries in her short little life. She is the sweetest smiley little girl. We love her so much and have enjoyed living close to her this past 16 months. Here she is this past December. Her mom and dad, Daniel and Sarah and participating in the March for Babies again this year. Sarah sent this email to me the other day and I thought that this was very worth sharing with you and hope that you can help them reach their goal of $2000 this year."Our family will be participating in the March of Dimes again this year. It is an organization that is very close to our hearts, as we have experienced first hand what good medicine and knowledge can do for a preemie. We know that times are tuff right now with the economy, but are asking if anyone has an extra dollar to please support us in raising funds for continued research. We greatly appreciate it.
I am very excited to be a part of March for Babies, please support my participation by making a donation. Why March for Babies? Because the March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will help:- support all-important research offering preventions and solutions for babies born too soon or with birth defects- educate women on things they can do to increase their chances of having a healthy baby- provide comfort and information to families with a newborn in intensive care- push for newborn screening and health insurance for all pregnant women and childrenWon't you please help me in this worthy cause?
