So Little Time...

Ok, after getting an ENTIRE weekend to myself for National Scrapbook day, I had a tons of catching up to do around my house. Yeah my husband and kids were well behaved and took care of their messes but weekends are usually for laundry and cleaning house and running errands. Well, none of that got done and my to-do list has multiplied at a rate that is very dificult to keep up with. I got sick after NSD and was out of commision for a couple of days. The big problem is that I have such friendly neighbors that when I go outside to get stuff done I get talking too long and don't finish my chores. So this is why I have been so long without updating my blog. But here is a loooong update that will show you some of the many things I have been up to lately...

A picture of our new motorhome (new to us anyway). This is my Mother's Day, Birthday, and William's Father's day present. And our anniversary present to eachother.

Getting my garden ready to plant in a couple more weeks.

And for Mother's Day my children got me a bunch of flowers to plant around my mailbox.

Then there is a huge yard project that I have taken on...I ripped out all my trees and most of my plants. I also had wood chips inside the curbing. I got rid of those and replaced it with the black soil (compost). It is so much prettier than the wood chips that get faded. Anyway, I am still not finished with this project. I have some landscaping fabric to remove and some plants to transplant. Lots of weeds need pulling but I will get to it eventually.

I mostly only have time in the evenings now that my day care license has finally gone through. This was a long time coming. And now that I have it I finally got more kids. And the best thing is I got a helper to work with me full time. It is my cousin Carrie who is here for the summer until college classes start up again. My kids adore her and get so excited that she comes to play with us every day now. So, the new kids I got... 3 boys and a girl from the same family. ages 4, 6, and 1 year old twins! Yeah I know now why God didn't answer my prayers for twins. I couldn't have done that round the clock! Liberty is having a great time with new little friends that are her size. They are actually a tad smaller than her. And she is already crawling circles around them. She tries to take off across the room but always just belly flops onto the floor. It doesn't phase her though.
And a couple more cute pictures of Liberty...
Other happenings without pictures... Makenna tried out for the State soccer team. She didn't make it because she has never played organized soccer. I knew that would happen but she wanted to try anyway. I am proud of her and how well she kept up with all those REALLY great players. I think we will try softball since the season is going to start soon.

I still haven't found the time to finish organizing my craft room. But the more important thing is that I have found a little more time to play with my kids. I am going to love this summer I think. No pregnancy and all my kids are old enough to enjoy the outdoors. Here is a picture I took this afternoon of the kids playing together. They were begging me to put Liberty on top of them so I grabbed the camera and had William hold her up there. She thought it was fun and loves to feel included in all their play. She keeps up with everyone in the house now.

Great pictures! Love the kiddo stack. Fun, fun, fun. What a great motorhome! Does it have a slide? How many beds? We love our trailer - it makes camping so much more fun.
