When mom's away...

You should see what my house looks like tonight. It looks like the kids had their way with it and didn't care what kind of messes they left in their wake. And of course Dad never even notices. At least it doesn't seem to bother him. Thursday night we went to see Pirates 3. Holy Cow! That is an awesome movie! Before the movie even started I began to feel a little sick. I had a sore throat and some sinus pressure starting. Then, three hours later when the movie ended I had a pretty bad sinus headache and a wretched sore throat. So I came home and took some medicine and went to bed. Friday morning I dreaded getting out of bed. I took some more medicine and it made me so tired that I could hardly keep up with my kids. Carrie was here though so I was able to lay around and do nothing. I took a nap from 11 to 12:30 and went to Amy's Reading Rainbow program looking like Death itself. Amy did an awesome job presenting the book she read. She memorized what she was supposed to say and didn't even get shy. Way to go Amy!!! Anyway, at about 4 pm I started getting chills and a fever so I took more medicine and went back to bed until around 8pm. I ate dinner took more medicine and went back to sleep. I got up this morning to a horrible mess. I left my house for the day to spend time at my dad's house for a Memorial Day weekend barbeque. It was fun and I felt better, due to more drugs in my system. Then around 7 pm it started hitting me again. At this point I am seriously wishing that I had a maid to take care of my house while I am sick so I don't have to worry about getting out of bed to take care of stuff. This ended up being a whole huge whiny post. My family doesn't feel sorry for me so I need someone to.
