Whew! I am exhausted. I played softball with my neighborhood tonight and I never realized just how out of shape I am until now. So I guess I have some exercising to do. I can't throw anymore. I never could run. At least I can still hit. Well I can connect with the ball and hit it far enough to make it to first at least part of the time. I was a little embarrassed because I haven't played since highschool and I almost tripped over my feet running to 3rd base. It wasn't pretty. I am sure I looked like I had a tiger on my tail, running for my life.
Anyway, I do have some good new to share about William's job searching. He had an interview this morning with Diversified Home Loans. They are a small company here in the valley. They were impressed with all of William's experience in credit and mortgage. And the icing on the cake was that he is fluent in Spanish. They have no one in their office that speaks Spanish so they want him. The bad thing is that the job as a loan rep/broker is a commission only job. So William was honest and told them that he would have to consider that since it worried him not to have a guaranteed income. The owner wants to hire him at 1.5% instead of 1% because of his experience. And all the other guys in the office would share the commission on any Spanish speaking loans they generate since William would have to help them with it. Ok so the part that is goo new about all of this is that the guys that one of the guys that works there, not the owner told him what he earns and it was three times William's salary. And they told him the reason they don't make more out of their office is because they all spend too much time on the golf course. Haha! So you mean to tell me they get paid that much to play? I am sold. Anyway, William is probably going to take the job so we can stay here in Logan. But he isn't going to turn away any interviews that come from all the resumes that he sent out.
Ok well, I have tons of work to do so I better get off this computer.
