Our Tooth Fairy screws up yet AGAIN!

This post is way over due. Emily lost her first tooth about a month ago and I finally downloaded all the pictures on my camera. I have been so busy when I think about it and when I am not busy I forget about it. Anyway, our history with the tooth fairy in our home is really rocky. We maybe get her doing her job about 50% of the time. It is amazing how I always seem to pull it off at the last minute. This was Emily's first tooth and thank goodness she wrote a note asking if mom could keep her tooth for her scrapbook and so she could take it to school to show her teacher and friends. So she stuck it under her bed and we all went to sleep. Yes even William and I went to sleep. That night was during the time Emily was struggling with the first kidney infection so she wet the bed and asked if she could sleep in my bed. So I made room for her and went back to sleep. In the morning I stuck her in the bath tub and we both forgot about the tooth. Amy comes running into my room distrought because the tooth fairy forgot to come AGAIN. (I wonder how much longer until Amy figures this out?) Anyway, I got some money and the treat that I had bought for her and had Makenna run and put it under her pillow on my bed. So when Emily got out of the tub she checked and sure enough the tooth fairy came to the pillow she actually slept on. It is quite funny that it actually made Amy even more sure that the tooth fairy can see us and knows how to find us. I have been so lucky considering how many times I have screwed up the tooth fairy thing!
