Camping ramblings

At the beginning of August we went to our ward campout. It is about two hours away in Cloudcroft NM. I was so impressed with how beautiful the landscape was there. I was convinced that NM has nothing but flat desert landscape. Anyway, it was Liberty's first time camping. All my other kids started camping at a very young few months old. But since we moved to Utah we haven't been camping at my family reunions. I miss them terribly. I am missing the one next weekend at Strawberry Arizona. That is our big Fleming family reunion. I love that one. It is such fun to get back in touch with all my Grandma's extended family. We have done this campout once a year since I was a kid. I never missed until Liberty was born the week after Labor Day. I was having too many contractions to travel too far from the hospital. And Casey left on his mission that weekend. So Mom, Dad, Hillary and Casey came to visit us in Utah. So back to the ward campout. It was just a Friday overnighter but was very worth the trip. I think the kids had a blast. Liberty loved the experience. I tried to get her to smell a flower but she had to pick it and then sat down on the rest of them. So much for those flowers. Oh and her idea of smelling is eating them. Yuck!
Amy actually found a four leaf clover. Lucky Girl!
