When I was in Farmington New Mexico I stayed up really late figuring out how to make this baby blanket from a pattern I bought. This blanket and pillow set is for Liberty. She is sharing a room with Mason who has his room done in John Deere tractors. So I thought it fit perfectly. The back and edge is made from fleece "minkee". The front is just cotton. I like them better made with flanel. Either way they are incredibly soft blankets. Now if I could just get her to use it. She still loves the blanket Grandma Payne made for her birth.

Check out the pattern I stitched on Joanne's machine. The flowers didn't turn out great around the whole blanket and it took tons of thread so I stitched hearts around the pillow.
